Southwell residents asked to report any suspicious behaviour after break-in on Leeway Road

Officers have asked residents to report any suspicious behaviour following a break-in during daylight hours.

The incident took place at a property on Leeway Road, Southwell.

A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Unfortunately, the criminals are back out there and causing misery.

"A property was entered a few days ago with a very untidy search made of the bedrooms.

"If anyone sees anything they think is the slightest bit suspicious please call 101 to report or 999 if you believe a crime is being committed."
