Technical difficulties for some Virgin Media customers reported in Newark

Some Virgin Media in the Advertiser area are unable to access broadband this afternoon.

The company has reported technical difficulties hitting parts of Newark.

Some broadband and cable television services have been affected.

The company said: “Our technician is in the area and workinf to fix things. You might find that you don’t have any Virgin fibre, voice, or interactive Virgin TV services at the moment.

“We are sorry about this and are working hard to restore your services as soon as possible.”

The company website has advised that these issues should be fixed by 00.15am.
