Around 60 people attended a public meeting in Balderton last night - voicing issues including anti-social behaviour, speeding and a lack of police presence in the village.

The meeting, in Balderton Village Centre, was attended by divisional commander Superintendent Dave Wakelin and Inspector Steve Cartwright of Newark Police.

Residents were told that a PCSO would be covering the village from next week and that anti-social behaviour in the area was unacceptable.
