Nottinghamshire Police launch appeal after motorcyclist seriously hurt in Collingham incident
Police are appealing for information after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after coming off his bike.
Emergency services were called to Besthorpe Road, Collingham, near Newark, around 11.25am today (March 29) following reports of the incident.
He was taken to hospital and the road has been closed while investigations take place.
Officers are now urging any motorists who were in the area and could have information to come forward.
Detective Constable Liah Lane, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We believe a number of passing motorists could be able to help with our initial inquiries into this incident.
“We do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the collision but motorists could have seen something, or have dashcam footage, which could assist us.”
