A614 Old Rufford road closed due to a crash

A two car crash has resulted in a road being closed both ways and injuries to two people.
The crash occurred between the B6034 road to Deerdale Lane on the A614 Old Rufford Road.
The location is northwest of Bilsthorpe and south of Rufford — just north of Eakring Road.
A spokesman from Nottinghamshire Police said police responded to the incident and assisted.
They added that two people were hurt but the injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
Despite the incident, traffic redirection is reportedly coping well but drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
The road had been blocked and there was also some damage caused to road furniture.
