Two portions of main road closed as the A617 which was closed yesterday near Kelham is now closed at Kirklington

A road which was already partially closed due to flooding has been closed further north-west for the same reason.

The A617 which was closed between the A46 Cattle Market roundabout in Newark and the Fox Inn in Kelham due to flood water making it impassable has now been closed near Kirklington.

This stretch of the road has now been closed both ways from the Edingley turn-off to Church Lane.

Drivers are advised to be aware of the dangers of flooding.
