A46 northbound between Elston and Newark re-opens

The A46 has re-opened in both directions following a serious multi-vehicle collision earlier today.
The road between East Bridgford and the cattle market roundabout at Newark was closed after a four-vehicle collision.
The collision is still causing residual congestion in the area.
National Highways East Midlands thanked everyone for their patience.
