HUNDREDS turned out for this year's St George's Day parade in Newark Market Place.
An estimated 700 children and young people from scouting groups across the district, including Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Cubs, Scouts and Beavers, turned out for the parade and their families and locals lined the streets to watch the parade.
The procession began at Mount C of E Primary School and processed through the town before arriving at the parish church for a service.
After the service, the scouts then marched around the market square, where a classic car show was also being held, and processed into formation in front of the town hall steps.
