Co-op Lincolnshire opens applications for Community Champions

Co-op Lincolnshire is looking for groups and organisations to support under its Community Champions initiative.

Since the scheme was launched in 2013, Community Champions have helped a variety of local groups and charities to make life better in their communities.

The next application deadline is February 23.

Successful applicants will benefit from fundraising from June until September.

Co-op Lincolnshire raises money for different causes every three months, usually tackling a local topical or social need, health groups, environmental or local community groups.

Newark Friendship Group has received a cheque as part of the Community Champions for summer 2022.

Newark in Bloom were Community Champions during the first community quarter in 2021.
