Mamba drug possession, driving offences and failing to comply with prison release requirements all offences before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court




A 40-year-old man has been jailed for a fortnight for failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison.

Matthew Buck, of no fixed abode, but formerly of Newark, failed to attend his initial appointmet on release.

Nottingham magistrates saw it as willful non-compliance and jailed him.

Buck had been serving a jail sentence for shoplifting offences in Newark and harassment.

He admitted the breach.

A Bingham woman who failed to provide her name and address to the owner of a car she was collision with at Nottingham Train Station was fined £200 by magistrates.

BMW driver Anna Goodlud, 53, of Parrs Close, Church Street, Bingham, pleaded guilty to the offence, which involved an Audi, and was ordered to pay £165 in costs.

She also had five penalty points added to her licence.

A man caught in possesssion of the controlled class B drug, Mamba, was ordered to be detained in the magistrates’ court for the day.

Further punishment was deemed served by time already spent in custody.

Julian Gray, 44, of Priestley Court, Ollerton, admitted possession while in Doncaster and was ordered to pay £90 in costs.

The court ordered the drugs to be destroyed.
