Delays being experienced on several sections of the A1 in Nottinghamshire

Long delays are being experienced by drivers on a major road.

The A1 Southbound between the A6075 and the junction with the A46 sees the area near Holme, north of Newark being affected by delays of 20 minutes.

Further south on the A1, delays of around 15 minutes are being experienced Southbound between B6325 Great North Road and A46 (Newark Showground / Air Museum Turn Off).

Average speeds in this area have dropped to ten mph.
