Incident near Newark Showground causes severe traffic delays

An incident on the A1 southbound is causing severe traffic delays.
The AA has suggested there are delays of 21 minutes —which will increase — on Great North Road between B6325 Great North Road and A617 (Cattlemarket roundabout).
Traffic is currently moving at an average speed of five mph.
The incident has also caused delays of more than ten minutes on the A1 southbound between the South Muskham and A46 Newark Showground turn off. Traffic is moving at 15mph.
