Shoes stolen

Police are appealing for information after a large quantity of shoes were stolen from a lorry at Foston.
Thieves used a blowtorch to break through the lock on the door of a lorry parked in a layby on the A1 at Bodkin Hall, near Foston, at around 1.45am today. They stole two pallets of shoes.
The offenders would have needed another vehicle to transport the goods and police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the layby to contact them on 0300 111 0300.
