Southwell opticians' window fit for royalty with display created by town's children
A shop front has been decorated fit for the jubilee with help from the town's schoolchildren.
Pinders Opticians, Southwell, has created a display featuring portraits of the Queen, in celebration of her Platinum Jubilee this June.
Children from Lowes Wong and Holy Trinity infants' schools took part, creating the artwork for the window.
Pinders also reached out via facebook to see if any older children wanted to take part.
GCSE art student Chloe, 15, and Lacey, 10, got involved and helped to bring the whole project together with their artwork.
The display features brightly coloured, hand painted portraits of Queen Elizabeth, surrounded by flags.
They had free reign to create whatever they want, with Pinders providing the young artists with blank canvases to work on.
