Duncan & Toplis’ agricultural team has made it through to the 2020-21 national finals for exceptional client support on succession planning, diversification and asset protection during a challenging few years for the farming sector.

The team will be competing for the top prize against rural companies, entrepreneurs and enterprises in the online ceremony on February 25.

Head of agriculture Mark Chatterton said: “It’s a great honour to be shortlisted for our work with the rural community.

“We work closely with rural businesses to offer a wide range of support and services that helps them to succeed with their own goals and ambitions; to grow, realise their potential and overcome any challenges they face.

“Our rural clients are up against a range of unique challenges, particularly family-owned businesses.

“We are well placed to offer the support they need as our team is highly experienced, helping many rural businesses thrive over the years.

“This level of service can be crucial for their survival and success — which in turn helps to support the wider rural economy and local community, so we are proud for our work to be recognised.”
