Six people stopped and advised on driving in Sherwood Police speeding operation
A police speeding operation has seen six people stopped and advised on their state of driving.
Sherwood Police were based on Lower Kirklington Road, Southwell, this morning (Thursday) as part of an initiative to educate problem-drivers.
It comes after concerns were raised over the speed of Southwell drivers who are causing issues in the area.
PC Deborah Bakin and PSCO Richard Dunn were on the scene and stopped and advised six people on the state of their driving.
Sherwood Police say no tickets were given to the drivers but the next operation will be enforceable and tickets will be issued.
