Skydive with Santa and jump into Christmas spirit at Skydive Langar
You can now skydive with Santa and jump into the Christmas spirit.
Santa has already made his first jump with one of his elves just 20 minutes away from Newark — at Skydive Langar.
What's more, adrenaline junkies can also opt to have one of Santa's elves film and photograph their experience — giving them the perfect picture for any festive Instagram story or personalised Christmas card.
Speaking of the experience, Josh Carratt, one of Santa's little helpers and operations manager at Skydive Langar, said: "We all know Christmas is a magical time of year and this year more than most, people want to make the most of the period and use it to make new memories through new experiences.
"By opting to jump with Santa, first-time jumpers can combine the adrenaline thrill of falling at 120mph with the magic of knowing the person they're sharing the experience with is none other than Father Christmas.
"We expect to see lots of Santa skydive Christmas cards and festive photo uploads all over social media come December 25."
Skydiving is an increasingly popular sport in the UK, with more than 3,000 tandem skydives made at Skydive Langar each year and over 30,000 jumps by thrill seekers who make jumping out of aeroplanes their hobby and/or job.
Earlier this year, a new world record was set for the most high-fives in freefall by duo Emily Aucutt and Josh Carratt at Skydive Langar.
