Tallents Solictors raise £7,370 for UK charities through Will Aid campaign




A firm of solicitors has raised £7,370 for UK charities through the will-writing campaign Will Aid.

The solicitors from Tallents volunteered their time and expertise, helping more than 100 clients have a valid will in place. In exchange, clients made a donation to Will Aid.

Sarah Allen, partner and head of the wills, trusts and probate department, said: “It has been a difficult couple of years for everyone across the world but by participating in Will Aid we are able to both help people in our local communities write a will, and support nine charities.”

John Coulthurst, community legacy manager from the British Red Cross, one of the charities to benefit, presented the private client team with their Will Aid certificates.

The achievement marks the seventh year that Tallents, which has offices in Newark and Southwell, has raised money for charity through the annual Will Aid campaign.

Its grand fundraising total now standing at £61,303.
