Southwell Racecourse offers Family Fun Day this August Bank Holiday Monday

Southwell Racecourse hosts Family Fun Day this bank holiday.

On Monday, August 29 ,the racecourse will be filled with activities for the whole family, from watching the horse races by the finish line to inflatables and pony racing.

On the day there will be food stalls, however, people are welcome to bring their own picnic.

The gates open at 11am with the first and last race taking place at 1.35pm and 5.05pm respectively.

Youngsters under 18 can attend for free, combining both a fun and affordable visit, as living costs increase.

The general admission for adults is £15 and the family bundle package is £50.

Across the country over 14 fixtures will take place from August 27-29, bringing people together on the last days of summer.

The TV presenter and former football star Jermaine Jenas and Great British Racing have teamed up to showcase all summer racing fixtures.
