Bakkavor Desserts, home to The Delicious Dessert Company has launched Halloween-themed desserts

A Newark-based dessert company is adding a spooky twist to Halloween celebrations with the launch of its new limited-edition desserts.

The Bakkavor Desserts site in Newark is home to The Delicious Dessert Company, one of the UK’s fastest-growing dessert brands.

Bakkavor Desserts has launched the Mummified Eclairs and Cookies and Scream Cheesecakes to mark this Halloween.

The Mummified Eclair features delicate choux pastry filled with a rich chocolate mousse, encased in a frighteningly good white chocolate lacing.

The Cookies and Scream Cheesecakes feature a rich cocoa biscuit crumb, loaded with vanilla-flavoured cheesecake mixed with cookie pieces - all topped with a rich chocolate ganache and finished with cookie crumbs.

The launch of the two desserts is landing in Tesco stores nationwide.

“As well as a cash donation, we will also be dropping off some of our Halloween treats to the food banks for the volunteer teams to enjoy. It’s our way of saying a heartfelt ‘thank you’ for the amazing work they do helping others.”
