Staff’s naked ambition aids charity
Male workers raised £5,796 for Cancer Research UK by stripping for a 2009 calendar.
Staff from A1 Bridge Flue Systems, Ollerton, posed for the black and white calendar with carefully-placed objects representing their area of work protecting their dignity.
Each month was dedicated to a different department at the company, based on Boughton Industrial Estate.
The calendars were sold through businesses and shops.
Staff have raised more than £15,000 for Cancer Research UK in four years.
In October they are planning to hold a men’s pink aerobics session to raise more money.
Human resources director Miss Tracy-Jane Moir said: “The company is passionate about Cancer Research UK as we all know somebody somewhere that has suffered with this awful disease.
“Every bit of money raised is a great help towards understanding cancer and hopefully getting nearer to finding a cure.
“Mention the word cancer and everybody is willing to contribute and we shall continue to help Cancer Research UK for as long as people are prepared to do so.”
