Stolen statue appeal

Police want the help of Advertiser readers in tracing the whereabouts of a bronze statue stolen from the garden of a home on Grange Road, Newark.
The 2ft-high statue was is of a girl with her hands clasped in front of her body holding her billowing skirt down which has been caught by a breeze.
The statue was stolen on the night of Monday/Tuesday of last week.
Pc Grant Hebblewhite, of Newark Police, fears the statue will be sold for scrap.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the statue or has information as to who took it is asked to contact Pc Hebblewhite at Newark Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
