Train services from both Newark Northgate and Newark Castle will be affected by strike action.
East Midlands Trains have announced that train services will continue for customers during industrial action, but services will be affected.
The RMT union will be going on strike for the next three Saturdays, July 20, July 27 and August 3.
East Midlands Trains has said trains to and from London will run as scheduled, but services on local routes, including both Newark Northgate and Newark Castle, will be affected and customers are advised to check their journey times before travelling.
East Midlands Trains services will not run on the Derby to Nottingham and Newark Castle route, where rail replacement coaches will run to Attenborough, nor Newark Northgate to Lincoln.
A rail replacement coach service will run from Newark Northgate to Newark Castle passengers catch a train to Lincoln instead.
Passengers may also use ticket on alternative operators on the following routes:
- LNER between Grantham, Newark Northgate & Retford
- Northern between Retford & Lincoln
The Nottingham to Newark Castle will also be serviced by one train per hour instead of the normal two.
A spokesman for East Midlands Trains said: "We’re disappointed that the RMT is intent on going ahead with this strike action, however we’re pleased we’ll be able to still run a good service for our customers on the three dates involved."
