Sudden death in Southwell
Police have prepared a report for the coroner into the death of a 50-year-old woman in Southwell on Friday night.
The woman, understood to have a long history of depression, is believed to have harmed herself.
An ambulance crew responded to a call to an address in Easthorpe on Friday evening and called in police at 7.13pm.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "This incident is being treated as a sudden death of a 50-year-old woman and there are no suspicious circumstances.
"The scene was preserved initially while the circumstances of the woman's death were established, but this ended at 8.20pm once officers were satisfied there were no suspicious circumstances.
"A file has been prepared for the coroner."
