Suspected drink driver, 33, of Burton Joyce, released under investigation after vehicle plunges more than 25ft into dyke in Lambley, Gedling
A suspected drink driver has been released under investigation after a crash.
The 33-year-old woman, of Burton Joyce, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving on Saturday following the collision.
The incident in the Park Lane area of Lambley, Gedling, was attended by a team of Special Constables who found the vehicle involved more than 25ft off the road's edge, in a fast-flowing dyke.
The team navigated down the ditch to ensure no one was trapped in the vehicle before they conducted a recovery operation.
After the incident, there was large disruption for motorists and residents in the area until around midday on Saturday.
Notts Police has thanked everyone involved for their patience, which included a local farmer who assisted in the clear-up operation with his JCB digger.
