Syerston Village Open Gardens successful fundraising




The event held at four gardens and the Village Hall in Syerston raised £4.596.

Under the National Gardens Scheme, the event had 430 visitors throughout the day.

Each entry for the event was £7 and a total of £4.596 was raised.

A sum of £3,159 of the money raised will be divided equally between Syerston Church and Syerston Village Hall.

According to the County Organiser, the number of visitors on the day was an unprecedented number.

David Tucker, one of the event organisers said: “There were many compliments through the day, not only about the four beautiful gardens, our stunningly decorated church and homemade cakes served at the Village Hall, but also about how well organised everything was.”

The event organisers and the team would like to tank all the visitors who have supported the charity event sas without them it wouldn’t have been possible.
