TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BRIDLEWAY THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (FISKERTON BRIDLEWAY NO. 6 GORSY LANE LC) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Nottinghamshire County Council has
made an Order, under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the
effect of which will be:-
No person shall:-
(a) proceed on foot,
(b) cause any pedal cycle to
proceed,
(c) cause any horse to proceed and
(d) cause any animal to proceed,
in the following length of bridleway
at Fiskerton in the District of Newark
and Sherwood:-
Fiskerton Bridleway No. 6 (Gorsy
Lane) between grid reference points
SK 7170 5079 and SK 7174 5078,
over the Level Crossing, a distance
of approximately 50 metres.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition will
apply as follows:-
From Saturday, 7th April 2018 at
20.30hrs until Sunday, 8th April 2018
at 08.30hrs inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER
GIVEN that during the period of
restriction there is no alternative route.
The prohibition shall apply to enable
works to be carried out and in respect
of the likelihood of danger to the public
and damage to the footpath. It may
also apply on subsequent days when it
shall be necessary. If the works are not
completed within 6 months, the Order
may be extended.
The prohibition is required to enable
stone blowing, and in respect of the
likelihood of danger to the public and
damage to the footpath.
THIS CLOSURE WILL ONLY TAKE
EFFECT WHEN SIGNS INDICATING
CLOSURE ARE DISPLAYED
THIS NOTICE IS DATED THIS 5TH
DAY OF APRIL 2018.
