The Ashiana Indian and Bangladeshi Restauranthas been shortlisted again in the English Curry Awards.
This year the nomination is under the category, Bangladeshi Restaurant of the Year.
Sai and the Ashiana team at the Ashiana in NOrth Muskham are very grateful and humbled to have been recognised for the shortlist, especially as they are up against some very stiff national competition.
Their head chef, Shimul Ahmed has been recognised previously in several national awards for the quality of his Bangladeshi cooking.
As ever, Sai has not been resting on his laurels this year, having just opened his third premises of a dedicated Ashiana takeaway in Yorkshire, in addition to the very successful restaurant and gardens at North Muskham and the takeaway at Long Bennington.
The awards ceremony for the English Curry Awards will take place in Birmingham in August and everyone in the Ashiana team has their fingers crossed that they will bring home another award to Newark.
Sai said: “Yet again, we have to thank our incredibly loyal customers for their support over the last year.
“Everything we do at the Ashiana is focused on ensuring they have the best Indian and Bangladeshi meal experience possible.
“We recognise that the competition in this category is very highly regarded and we are most grateful to have been shortlisted with them.”
