THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN EDWINSTOWE AND PERLETHORPE CUM BUDBY) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2017 (NK150-17)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effects will be in respect of roads at Edwinstowe and Perlethorpe Cum Budby in the District of Newark and Sherwood:-

1. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unload-ing in the following lengths of road:

I. B6034 Church Street, Edwinstowe (both sides) from its junction with Forest Corner to its junction with A6075 Oll-erton Road.

II. Maythorn Grove, Edwinstowe (both sides) for its whole length.

III. Paddock Close, Edwinstowe (north side) from a point 27 metres north of its junction with Greendale Avenue for a distance of 200 metres in a north-easterly then a north-westerly direction.

IV. Paddock Close, Edwinstowe (south side) from a point 27 metres north of its junction with Greendale Avenue for a distance of 80 metres in a north-easterly then a north-westerly direction.

V. Royal Oak Court (both sides), for its whole length.

VI. Forest Corner (both sides), for its whole length.

2. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour in the following length of road: B6034 Swinecote Road, Edwinstowe from a point 50 metres north of its junction with Forest Corner for a distance of 1290 metres in a northerly direction.

3. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour in the following lengths of road:

I. A616 Worksop Road, Perlethorpe Cum Budby/Edwinstowe from its junction with B6034 Swinecote Road for a distance of 300 metres in a south-easterly direction.

II. A616 Worksop Road, Perlethorpe Cum Budby from its junction with B6034 Swinecote Road for a distance of 300 metres in a north-westerly direction.

III. B6034 Swinecote Road, Edwinstowe from its junction with A616 Worksop Road (Perlethorpe cum Budby) for a distance of 520 metres in a southerly direction.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows (as and when legally signed):-

From 07:00 hours on Monday 31st July 2017 until 23:59 hours on Sunday 6th August 2017 inclusive.

The effects of any: -

(a) Order made, or having effect as if made, by the Secre-tary of State under Section 88 of The Road Traffic Regu-lation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), or

(b) Statutory provision under Sections 81 and 82 of the Act, or

(c) Order made, or having effect as if made, by the Council under Sections 82, 83 and 84 of the Act: are hereby temporarily suspended (for so long as this present Order is enforced) insofar as they relate to any length or lengths of road specified in Article 1 of this present Order.

The Order will come into force on Monday 31st July 2017 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary for health and safety to enable the Robin Hood Festival to take place. The Order shall continue in force until the event is completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
