THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS FOOTPATHS IN FARNSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2017 (NK270-17)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effects will in respect of lengths of highway in Farnsfield in the District of Newark and Sherwood: -

1. No person shall proceed in the following lengths of highway: -

I. FP Ridgeway Close to The Ridgeway for its whole length.

II. FP The Ridgeway to Ridgeway Close for its whole length.

III. FP Milldale Road to Link Path for its whole length.

IV. FP The Ridgeway to Link Path for its whole length.

V. FP Brickyard Lane to Milldale Road for its whole length.

VI. FP The Ridgeway to Milldale Road for its whole length.

2. IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition respecting the above lengths of highway will apply as follows: -

From 07:00 hours on Friday 24th November 2017 until 23:59 hours on Wednesday 31st January 2018 inclusive.

3. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN

That during the period of the restriction the alternative routes available will be signed on site.

The Order will come into force on 24th November 2017 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable North Midland Construction Ltd working on behalf of Virgin Media to carry out telecoms installation works.
