THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VILLAGE WAY, FARNDON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2017 (NK259-17)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effects will in respect of a road in Farndon in the District of Newark and Sherwood: -

1. No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in the following length of road: -

Village Way, for its whole length.

2. IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: -

From 07:00 hours on Monday 13th November 2017 until 23:59 hours on Friday 8th December 2017 inclusive.

The Order will come into force on 13th November 2017 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).

The prohibition is required to enable Via East Midlands Ltd to carry out highway drainage improvement works.
