Newark's Palace Theatre asks for public's pet pictures for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime-themed competition
The Palace Theatre is asking for the public's pet pictures for a panto-themed competition.
Inspired by the Disney film and the palace’s pantomime title for 2020, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the theatre is asking for photos of pets showing off the dwarfs' characteristics.
They asked theatregoers on their Facebook page to spread joy and get involved in the new competition where there is a great prize up for grabs.
From guinea pigs looking grumpy to happy hamsters, dogs like Doc and bashful birds, if you have a pet who embodies either Grumpy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, Dopey or Doc, post your picture in the comments of the theatre’s Facebook post here.
If anyone wants to enter but doesn’t have a pet, they are welcome to get creative with a cuddly toy animal instead.
The palace will share its favourite entries throughout the week and will choose a winner after the competition closes on Monday, April 20.
The lucky entrant will receive a delicious lunch in Cafe Nineteen20, up to the value of £20, to enjoy when it re-opens.
