The Riverside pub and restaurant beats the floods to stay open

The Riverside pub and restaurant by the River Trent at Farndon has stayed open throughout the floods of last week.

The flood water lapped at the decking around The Riverside on Monday of last week and its carpark was under water.

However, the Riverside did not have to close and it remains business as usual.
