Three people hurt in A614 smash

Three people have been taken to hospital after a road crash in Nottinghamshire.
It happened around 11.40am today (Wednesday May 30) at the Walesby turn off of the A614, outside the Thoresby Estate.
A VW Golf and an Astra van were in collision.
Three men, two from the van and one from the VW Golf have been taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre.
The driver of the VW Golf is in a stable condition, while the two occupants in the Astra are in a serious condition.
Part of the A614 will be closed off until at least 5pm this evening while enquiries are ongoing and the vehicles are recovered.
