Liverpool legend Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock and Paul Chuckle of The Chuckle Brothers visit Ashiana, North Muskham
Diners at a popular North Muskham eatery were treated to not one, but two celebrity visits this week — from both a footballing and a comedy legend.
The Ashiana saw visits from former football star and TV personality Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock and Paul Chuckle, of the Chuckle Brothers, this week, with each saying they were recommended to try the curry restaurant by friends.
Owner Sai Miah, a Liverpool fan, said that both celebs were very down-to-earth, friendly guy, and that he enjoyed preparing a feast for the Kop legend:
“He was a very nice guy,” Sai said, “He was very pleasant and just like any normal customer.
“He left it to me to make him whatever I wanted, and I made him quite a feast with king prawns, chicken, lamb chops, and poppadoms — he said he was stuffed!”
Sai said he chatted with himabout Liverpool and the team that Ruddock had played in including Ian Rush, Steven Gerrard, and Jamie Redknapp, and Ruddock has promised to return another time with more Liverpool legends.
Also visiting this week was Paul Chuckle, who visited with six friends. Sai said he was also a really nice visitor and was very down-to-earth, spending time chatting to him and the staff at the bar:
“He felt just like a normal customer as well, he said he’d been recommended to try our restaurant by previous customers, and I felt so excited to see him in my restaurant,” Sai said, “The Chuckle Brothers were a part of my childhood.
“I hope we get more celebrities coming in soon.”
Luckily, Sai said that all of his other customers were respectful of their celebrity visitors and left them to enjoy their meals in peace.
