Toddler dies following 3-vehicle crash near Holdingham roundabout at Sleaford




A toddler has died in a crash.

A 20-month-old boy died earlier this morning (Friday, March 21) in hospital after he suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday (March 19) close to the Holdingham roundabout between Sleaford and Newark on the A17.

The three-vehicle crash — a white Audi, a silver Kia Ceed and black Volkswagen Passat — resulted in the arrest of a 31-year-old man for causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

The man has now been released on police bail while Lincolnshire Police continues its investigation into the crash.

The toddler’s family is being supported by specially trained officers.

Lincolnshire Police is still appealing for information and dashcam footage.
