Ashiana, North Muskham, named Best Bangladeshi Restaurant, Nottinghamshire’s Indian Restaurant of the Year and Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice in hat-trick year of awards
A popular Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant has collected three awards titles this year.
Ashiana, in North Muskham, has been named the Best Bangladeshi Restaurant in England at the English Curry Awards, Nottinghamshire’s Indian Restaurant of the Year at the Central England Prestige Awards and has achieved it’s fourth Travellers’ Choice Award from Tripadvisor.
The panel of expert industry judges at the Central England Prestige Awards considered the Ashiana to be at the ‘forefront of the Indian restaurant industry, creating innovative, high quality dishes beloved by their diners.’
Saiqul Miah, owner of the Ashiana, said: “Everyone at the Ashiana is so delighted to receive these additional awards. It’s been a very hard couple of years for everyone in the hospitality industry but the Ashiana has focused on creating the highest quality Indian and Bangladeshi dishes and making sure the customer is satisfied at every point possible.
“All of the awards we have received this year are a testament to how hard everyone at the Ashiana works — from the chefs and staff in the kitchen, to our front of house. Our grateful thanks also go to our loyal customers who continue to support us and recommend us to their friends.”
The coveted Traveller’s Choice award celebrates businesses that have consistently received great traveller reviews on Tripadvisor over the last 12 months, placing these winners among the 10% of all listings on Tripadvisor globally.
John Boris, chief growth officer at Tripadvisor said: “Congratulations to the 2023 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice winners.
“The travel resurgence we’ve seen throughout the past year has even further heightened the competition. Earning a Travelers’ Choice Award demonstrates that you have provided great experiences to those who matter most: your guests. With changing expectations, continued labor shortages, and rising costs, this is no easy feat, and I am continually impressed with the hospitality industry’s resilience and ability to adapt. Cheers to another successful year.”
