BBC Top Gear's The Stig to star at Harby classic car show and farmers' market

The Stig will be making an appearance at a village car show this weekend.

The famous face from BBC's Top Gear will be at Harby classic car show and farmers' market from 10am to noon, accompanied by six Jaguars.

Vintage and modern cars will be on show, with around 40 to 50 expected on the day.

There will also be a children's bouncy castle and 40 farmers' market stalls.

There is free entry to the show.

Event organiser Richard Ward said: "There will be everything from craft stalls, an artist selling her original paintings, barbecue packs, fishmongers, pastries, cakes ­— all sorts."

There will also be a licensed bar provided by Foxtrot and Oscar LTD.

The event will be held from 10am to 5pm on Saturday (July 30) at Harby (Newark and Sherwood) playing fields.
