Total of 42 coronavirus cases reported in Newark and Sherwood over the weekend according to Public Health England
A total of 42 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Newark and Sherwood over the weekend, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
Ashfield 37,118 cases (up 42) Bassetlaw 34,504 (up 39) Broxtowe 32,127 (up 49) Gedling 35,567 (up 55) Mansfield 32,859 (up 33) Newark and Sherwood 33,550 (up 42) Rushcliffe 35,239 (up 56) Nottingham city 99,345 (up 97) and Nottinghamshire 240,964 (up 316).
In the last seven days there have been 439 positive cases recorded in Newark and Sherwood, which is down 7 cases on the previous seven-day period.
There have been no new deaths reported in Newark and Sherwood within 28 days of the person testing positive for the virus, leaving the total at 271.
According to the latest public data, 18,804,765 (up 31,601) patients in the UK have tested positive and 161,224 (up 120) people have died within 28 days of positive test.
