Traffic on the A46, A1 and A17 around Newark is very slow moving - take care on the roads.

Reports of slow moving or stationary traffic are coming in from around Newark this afternoon.

There is slow traffic on the A46 northbound to the A617 (Cattlemarket roundabout) to the A1 Newark Showground turn off, and there is also standstill traffic on the A17 on the approach to the Friendly Farmer roundabout.

Be aware of slow traffic on A1 southbound from Nelson Lane to the A46 junction, as well as queueing traffic on Lombard Street from the B6326 through to the B6166.
