Traffic on A616 westbound between Maplebeck Road and the A614 Blyth Road comes to a standstill after A1 northbound closure

Traffic is currently at a standstill on the A616.

As a result of the A1 northbound closure between North Muskham and Worksop, traffic has come to a standstill on the A616 westbound towards Ollerton.

AA maps suggests severe delays of 30 minutes on Ollerton Road between Maplebeck Road and the A614 Blyth Road.

Highways England is working to dig water alleviation trenches in nearby fields to try to stop water flowing on to the carriageway on the A1.
