#dab4Daniel : Tributes are paid across region
A dance pose adopted as a tribute to a six-year-old boy who died just before Christmas has been performed by people across the region today.
Since the sudden death of Daniel Harris on December 23, thousands of Facebook users have joined the #dab4Daniel group.
It was set up by Mr Iain Moulds, a friend of Daniel's father Phil, as a way to show that people were standing shoulder-to-shoulder in support of the family.
In addition to the hundreds of photographs left by members of the public in support of the campaign, famous faces including Strictly Come Dancing winner Jay McGuiness performed their own dabs.
Daniel was a football fan and, today, supporters at Lincoln City's Sincil Bank Stadium took part in a dab ahead of the Imps' game against Forest Green Rovers.
A dab was also performed by Newark Flowserve.
Nottingham Forest player Eric Lichaj performed the dab, with a photograph and the #dab4Daniel hashtag posted on Twitter by his wife Kathryn.
Former world champion boxer Kell Brook has also taken part in #dab4Daniel.
Runners at Newark Parkrun, in Sconce and Devon Park, performed the dab ahead of their weekly event.
Tributes were also paid at Nottingham Panthers' home game against Coventry Blaze.
A JustGiving page has also been set up to raise money in Daniel's memory.
- A two-minute dab is due to be held at Fernwood Playing Field, at 11am on New Year's Day. All are welcome to attend.
