Johnson, 54, of Leicester, was told to pay £235 after pleading guilty to being drunk and disorderly.

Hadfield, 21, of Leicester, pleaded guilty to a public order offence and was ordered to pay £230 in fines and costs.

All of the offences took place during the FA Cup clash between Nottingham Forest and Leicester City at the City Ground on February 6.

Appearing at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, the trio all received three-year football banning orders.

Cameron Toner, 19, of Leicester, also appeared before the court the same day and was sentenced to four months in youth custody having pleaded guilty to three counts of common assault and going onto a playing area at a football match. Read the full story here.

Chief Inspector Neil Williams, match commander of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “As the district judge quite rightly suggested in their closing remarks, the vast majority of the 29,000 or so people who attended this fixture enjoyed the match and caused no trouble.

“Sadly, there was a tiny minority who let both themselves and other fans down through their actions and found themselves before the courts as a result.”
