East Midlands Railways trains disruption between Attenborough and Nottingham affecting Newark
A fault on a train has been causing disruption on lines between Attenborough and Nottingham and Nottingham and Newark.
A service ground to a halt at Beeston, but the line has now re-opened.
However, trains might still be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Some trains running to and from Newark, either Northgate station or Castle stations, to Nottingham are being cancelled.
East Midlands Railways said the disruption was expected to last until 3pm, but several services appear to have been cancelled for after that time.
Train operators affected by the disruption are East Midlands Railway and CrossCountry.
Passengers can be entitled to compensation if they experience a delay in their journey.
