A17 road that connect Newark Nottinghamshire with Sleaford Lincolnshire closed due to a truck fire

A truck fire has closed a main road and affected traffic as congestion builds up in the area.

The A17 both ways between the Beckingham turn-off and the Brant Broughton turn-off has been closed.

The road was closed at around 17:00 today (Thursday, January 11).

The incident is affecting traffic between Newark and Sleaford.
