Field Dog Fairs bring “As Seen on TV” antiques weekend to Southwell Racecourse, with TV expert Irita Marriott




Antiques enthusiasts, bargain hunters and collectors alike are in for a winter treat.

Southwell Racecourse will once again opens its doors for the “As Seen on TV” Antiques Weekend run by established event organiser Field Dog Fairs later this month.

In its 11th year, the much loved event returns on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, when it will offer visitors the opportunity to explore a diverse array of antiques, collectables, vintage, jewellery, homewares and hidden treasures.

Charlotte Williams, event director said: “I am delighted to welcome back to the event TV Antiques Expert Irita Marriott. Irita, who was a previous stallholder with Field Dog Fairs, joined us at our August event and had a constant stream of people bringing in their items all weekend.

“It was a wonderful addition to the event, and I am happy she has chosen to come back in November”

Known for her extensive knowledge and charm on screen, Irita will once again be on hand throughout the weekend to evaluate items brought in by visitors, with no appointment necessary.

Whether you’ve uncovered a long-forgotten heirloom, a car boot find, or a beloved piece passed down through generations, Irita’s is sure to provide valuable insights and fascinating history.

With more than a decade of successful events, Field Dog Fairs Antiques Weekend at Southwell Racecourse have become a favourite, drawing crowds from Nottinghamshire and beyond.

Visitors can browse and buy everything from fine jewellery to ceramics, furniture, artwork, and more. For collectors and hobbyists, it is an ideal opportunity to discover unique finds and speak with knowledgeable stallholders.

The event will run from 10am to 4pm. on both days. Admission is £3 for both adults and concessions and children under 16 can attend for free. Dogs are also welcome.

There will be indoor seating, refreshments, and plenty of parking available.
