CBeebies television show, I can do it, you can do it too to feature Newark people in soft archery episode this week

A television programme that is due to air tomorrow, (Thursday, March 14) will feature several people from Newark.

I can do it, you can too is a show that airs on CBeebies and the episode is already available on iPlayer.

The premise of the show is having children pass on new skills to young rookies.

Tomorrow’s episode will show Highfields School students eight-year-old Adam Gordon coaching rookie five-year-old Ariana Hanton about soft archery.

It will also star Newark Archery coach Mandie Elson who helped organise the episode.

“The filming company contacted Archery GB who in turn contacted myself as they know I work with children in schools with soft archery,” said Mandie.

“The filming took a whole day and it was a fabulous experience and the children were amazing.”
