Two 15-year-olds remanded in custody at Nottingham Magistrates' Court charged with Collingham Post Office robbery and three other offences
Two 15-year-olds charged in connection with a robbery at Collingham Post Office have been remanded in custody.
The co-accused youths appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Monday and were refused bail after previously being remanded on Saturday.
Jason Lee, 19, of Summergangs Road, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, has also been charged with robbery at Collingham Post Office and was remanded into custody at Nottingham Crown Court. He did not apply for bail.
Bail was applied for on behalf of the 15-year-old defendants.
The pair, who cannot be named due to their age, are charged with:
- Robbery of Collingham Post Office on January 2, 2020, where cash and cigarettes were stolen
- Robbery of M&D Convenience Store on Main Street, Claypole, on December 30, 2019
- Burglary on Middleton Road, Newark, on January 1, 2020, where a car, Nintendo DS, Armani watch and jewellery of an unknown value were stolen
- Burglary on Lime Grove, Newark, on December 29, 2019, where a car and bank cards were stolen
The case was sent to Nottingham Crown Court where they will appear on February 3.
