Two businesses in Newark occupying substantial units are closing down.
Shutting their doors for good are Poundstretcher and Carpetright in Northgate retail park.
The stores, which sit next to each other, have put closing down signs in their windows.
Both occupy very large units in the retail park.
It follows a number of business closures in Newark town centre of late including The Pud Store and Shoezone in St Mark's Place, as well as childrenswear store Yvonne on Cartergate.
They all join the list of stores that have shut up shop since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Poundstretcher and Carpetright have been approached for comment.
