Their injuries were not life-threatening or life-altering, but left them extremely shaken.

John Price, 32, formerly of Turner Lane, Boughton, was found guilty of aggravated burglary, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and causing actual bodily harm following a three-day trial at Nottingham Crown Court, which concluded yesterday (Wednesday, August 14).

His co-accused, 22-year-old Joseph Lee, formerly of Bowbridge Lane, Balderton, pleaded guilty to the same offences, as well as possession of a bladed article, at a previous hearing.

They have both been remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on September 5.
